Description The NYOrtho ZERO-G Performa GTO Boot™ is a heel protector boot featuring an easy-to-access opening panel that allows caregivers to align the heel over the air cavity during fitting and perform skin assessment or apply medication without removing the boot. This access panel helps reduce patient discomfort by minimizing repeated removal and reapplication that may irritate sensitive skin. Like other ZERO-G Performa boots, it maintains consistent heel suspension to help reduce pressure, friction, and shear during periods of immobility, while the wipe-clean Performa fabric supports easy cleaning and maintenance. Features EASY-TO-ACCESS panel allows the heel to be aligned over the air cavity during fitting. Enables skin assessment and medication application without removing the boot. Access door helps reduce patient discomfort by minimizing repeated removal and reapplication. Extended, cushioned design suspends the heel over an air cavity for zero heel pressure and improved air circulation. High-performance, wipe-clean cover is antimicrobial, mildew resistant, and water resistant. Removable gel pack may be used to further reduce pressure beneath the ankle and help keep the foot cool (FA-GEL-4×8). Foam-cushioned sides help protect the medial and lateral malleoli (ankle bony prominences). Adaptable strap system allows the boot to be secured in two alternate positions; lower position helps control dorsiflexion. Padded hook-and-loop closures allow easy application and removal while helping eliminate pressure across the top of the foot. Measure the circumference of the lower part of the calf muscle for proper fit. Wipe-clean surface. Meets CA 117 flammability requirements.
