Beneath the VISCO layer, the quad gel pod is chambered closer to the top of the cushion, providing a cooler interface between the patient and wheelchair. The quad-compartment gel pod provides greater control over gel distribution across the seating surface, supporting a more consistent seating interface during use. A high-performance stretch cover improves moisture evaporation, supporting the APEX design features. Aggressive non-slip bottom with quick-release straps helps keep the cushion securely positioned on the wheelchair seat.
