Description The NYOrtho ZERO-G Heel Pillow™ is a heel off-loading cushion designed to suspend the heel above the mattress and eliminate direct contact during bed rest. By off-loading the heel into air, it helps reduce sustained pressure associated with decubitus formation in high-risk patients while supporting pressure injury prevention. In addition to heel protection, the ZERO-G Heel Pillow™ provides gentle lower-leg elevation and positional support during prolonged immobility. Its open, non-wearable design allows easy access for inspection, treatment, and rebandaging without disturbing the patient, making it well suited for use in medical, post-acute, and long-term care settings.
