Description The NYOrtho™ ProGel Geri Chair Overlay is a full-surface comfort seat designed for standard geriatric recliner chairs used in nursing homes, hospitals, and long-term care facilities. This medical recliner overlay adds cushioning over firm seating surfaces while integrating ProGel ™ technology to support balanced pressure distribution during extended seated care. The ProGel system incorporates targeted gel sections within a supportive foam body to help maintain gel in higher-pressure areas while promoting overall cushioning performance. Designed to provide full-surface coverage on geri chairs commonly found in clinical environments. Features Back and seat cushions feature a four chambered gel-pod to minimizes gel migration in the area of highest pressure and dissipates metabolic heat, continuously maintaining a cool interface between the body and cushion. A wipe clean, high performance pressure reducing fabric promotes healing via active evaporation of moisture and cooling at patient pressure points. Fabric enhanced antimicrobial, water-resistant and mildew-resistant. Easily secured in place with a quick-release buckle at three positions. Designed for use with positioning belts in addition to many other geri-chair accessories. Meets CA 117 standard.
